About Dead Signal
Dead Signal tells horror and crime stories through the messages on your phone. At 3:07 AM a wrong number lights up your screen: Liya went into the abandoned Meskerem Hotel to film a dare and can't find the way out. Her battery is dying, and something in the hotel has started answering for her. Stay with her until dawn.
Every choice changes the story: eight episodes and four endings in Checked In, plus Left Behind, a short crime story about a phone forgotten in a ride-share car. Messages arrive with typing dots, photos, voice notes and calls. Some scenes play out in real time, and puzzles ask you to spot a code or a name in what you've been sent. Collect clues, revisit endings and replay any choice. Two Signals is an online co-op night for two phones.
Checked In is fully playable in Amharic. Jump scares and flashing effects can be turned down or off. For players 18 and over.
